Tanzania, Kenya and South Africa are home to amazing herds of wildebeast and zebra, as well as the lion, leopard and cheetah who enjoy the vast plains. Visit the place where humankind is meant to have been born, and witness tribal people proud and unaltered for many many years.

Enjoy the highlights of South Africa in a small group adventure. Watch for Africa’s biggest five animals - elephant, leopard, buffalo, lion and rhinoceros while going to the six game parks in custom-made 4WDs with an experienced guide and a game tracker.

Ride the cableway to the summit of Table Mountain, go around the city, then wander the National Botanical Gardens; go to Robben Island; go for an African Heritage Tour; and enjoy a Cape Winelands tour. Tonight join a drumming session before feasting on a meal of African and Cape Malay cuisine.

While in Tanzania, why not try to hike Kilimanjaro? Kilimanjaro is one of the most accessible high peaks on the planet, a place for visitors from around the world. Most adventurers reach the crater rim with little more than a stick, technical clothing and perseverance. And those who reach Uhuru Point, the actual peak, or Gillman's Point on the edge of the crater, will have earned their climbing awards.

But there is much more to Kili than her peak. Even before you traverse the national park boundary (at the 2.7 kilometre contour), the foot slopes give way to lush forest, where elusive elephants, leopards, buffalos, the endangered Abbot’s duikers, and other antelope, deer and primates live. Higher still lies the moorland zone, where a shroud of giant heather is peppered with otherworldly giant lobelias.
